Approaching from Scarborough (A171)
 

When approaching Whitby from Scarborough via A171, drive into Whitby passing Sainsburys on your right, down the hill and turn right onto Spital Bridge and proceed down onto Church Street and the Harbour. Continue to the traffic lights at the Old Swing Bridge. Drop-off parking is available on the right outside Andersons Newsagents before you go over the bridge. Harbourside Apartments are located 20 metres down Sandgate on your left, the front door is on the right of Venus Trading (our shop).

Approaching from Middlesbrough (A171) & York (A169)
 

When approaching Whitby from Middlesbrough via A171, or Pickering/York via (A169) drive into Whitby following signs for the town centre. Turn left at the top of Prospect Hill on the A174/A171 intersection still heading towards the town centre. When you reach the bus station on your right go straight on at the traffic lights and then straight on again at the roundabout, which leads onto New Quay Road on the Harbour. Drive over the old swing bridge and park on the left outside Andersons Newsagents to drop-off. Harbourside Apartments are located 20 metres down Sandgate on your left, the front door is on the right of Venus Trading (our shop).

Car parking

We can help you with places to park when we greet you, but in case you need it here is a little information on parking near the apartment.

Very few properties in Whitby have on-site parking. For drop-off and unloading park on Bridge Street. The streets in the centre of Whitby have a limited time Disc Zone policy (1-2 hours) - which you will need a parking disc displayed in your car window if you are parked in these areas (one can be found in the apartment or obtained from Anderson's Newsagents). Daily parking permits are available free of charge from us for the W Parking Zones, which are only a short walk from the apartment. 

There are a number of pay and display carparks, the closest of which is turning left back out of Sandgate, following the road round to your right and following Church street for 200 meters until you see it on your right.
